Engineer Expo (the “App”) is an event companion for engineering conferences and
similar events. It lets attendees browse the agenda, register for sessions, save a
personal schedule, find rooms, and access session materials. This policy explains
what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with your organization’s
single sign-on (Microsoft Entra ID), we receive your name and work email address
so we can identify you within the event.
Reviewer / demo access. If you sign in with a demo account, we
use only the name and email associated with that account.
Your activity in the event. Session registrations, waitlist
status, saved (“my schedule”) sessions, and — for organizers and speakers — the
rooms and sessions you manage.
Content you provide. Files (such as slides or handouts) that
organizers or speakers attach to a session.
Technical information. Standard server logs (for example, IP
address, device/browser type, and timestamps) used to operate, secure, and
troubleshoot the service.
How we use information
Show the agenda and let you register for capacity-limited sessions and waitlists.
Keep your personal schedule and show who is registered to event organizers.
Deliver session materials to the appropriate audience.
Operate, secure, monitor, and improve the App.
How information is shared
Within your organization / event. Event administrators and a
session’s speakers can see registration rosters for the sessions they manage.
Service providers. The App is hosted on Microsoft Azure, which
processes data on our behalf to run the service.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for
advertising. The App contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and
security of the service and its users.
Data retention
Registration and schedule data is retained for the duration of the event and normal
operational needs. Files attached to a session are automatically deleted approximately
three months after the event’s end date. You may request earlier deletion of your data
(see “Contact” below).
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to stored data uses managed
identities and least-privilege permissions. No method of transmission or storage is
100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law. To

Children’s privacy
The App is intended for event attendees and is not directed to children. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by
updating the “Effective date” above.
